3:00pm I just heard from Tami. It has been 4 weeks today since Kevin's fall. This is the 6th day that Kevin has not responded to anyone. They would like to speak to the trauma doctor again. Kevin's digestive system issue has not been resolved yet. There isn't a blockage, but his system has basically stopped. He now has an NG tube inserted in his mouth that is giving him meds that will hopefully resolve the problem. Until his digestive system is functioning the way it should, he will remain in the ICU. He is still getting help with the ventilator, although he is mostly breathing on his own.
